Analysis I: Competitive Analysis
My group and I worked together on a competitive analysis. Each of us chose two companies to analyze in the fin-tech space to see what was work and what wasn’t. After synthesizing the data we concluded people using these apps want budgeting tools to help them pay their bills on time and savings tools to help with their future.
Journey Map
To gain a strong understanding of how the user persona I came up with would utilize the app I created a journey map, focusing on how the features are currently utilized, what needs to be improved upon, and new features.
Rapid prototyping and feature prioritization
To quickly move through the project after the client introduction, we rapidly prototyped feature improvements to move forward with.
I wanted to help people better understand what should be a priority from day to day so they know what needs to be paid and what can potentially wait till their next pay period. Color coding these provides an easy visual to communicate the urgency of bills and savings.
